MABEL LUCIE ATTWELL FAIRY TREE BISCUIT TIN
WILLIAM CRAWFORD & SON LTD, CIRCA 1935

modelled in the form of a cone-shaped tree atop a cylindrical base, with a coin-slot on the reverse, the lid is detachable with screw closure. This was the last in a series of three money bank tins designed by Attwell in her characteristic style, all inspired by fairies.
