Note: In 1927 Aberdeen became the first Scottish club to visit South Africa, playing a total of fourteen matches. The tour wasn't the first time the club had ventured into the great unknown, playing a number of fixtures in Eastern Europe in 1911. The trip proved a great success with the team winning eight of their games and losing four.
