Note: Eric Bruce McKay was a painter and draughtsmen, in oil, watercolour and pastel, born in London 25th September 1907. He studied at the Hampstead School of Art, London County Council Art School and in Italy. For much of the 1930’s he ran the Carmelite Studio in Fleet Street. He exhibited at the R.O.I, N.E.A.C. and in North America. He eventually settled in Eastbourne where he was a prominent member of the Arts Club. His work is held by the Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne.
