Historically, Glen Scotia hasn’t enjoyed the same degree of success as its Campbeltown stablemates. However, recent investment from The Loch Lomond group has worked wonders in turning this around. A good chunk of this investment has gone into sourcing high quality casks, and the brand now boasts a rock-solid core range, topped off by an award winning 25-Year-Old.
Did we mention that the distillery is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a former manager? Thankfully none of their whiskies seem to exhibit tasting notes of ectoplasm.

BLACKSTRAP COVE DOUBLE CASK
Single malt.
This Scotch single malt has been martured in a combination of Bourbon and Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. Although bottled under the name Gibraltar Distillery Co, the whisky is produced by the Loch Lomond group and is lightly peated, so it could well be the same liquid as the Glen Scotia.
