  Lot 296

GORDON'S JAMAICA CANE GIN AND GORDON'S SPECIAL DRY LONDON GIN CIRCA 1992 75CL

GORDON'S JAMAICA CANE GIN

This extremely rare gin was essentially a prototype that never came to fruition. Made in small amounts for a UK test market, the aim was revitalise the brand's image by targeting a younger audience. This unusual spirit is distilled from sugar cane, and is infused with lime and kalamansi, a small citrus tree indigenous to the Phillipines and Asia whose fruit is somewhere in taste between a mandarin and a kumquat.

Only a tiny number of these bottles are still circulation.

37.5% ABV / 70cl

GORDON'S SPECIAL DRY LONDON GIN CIRCA 1992

This older bottle of gin predates Gordon's decision to dilute their gin to 37.5% ABV in order to reduce their tax bill.

40% ABV / 75cl
