Footnote: accompanied by a note stating that it is likely this book belonged to Lady Amelia Fraser of Clan Fraser, a clan sympathetic to the Jacobite cause with Lord Fraser eventually beheaded at the Tower of London in 1746

Worn condition, distress to boards with some losses, front board half attached to spine; browning, staining and sporadic pencil marks to pages, named to frontispiece and with different name to title page; private collector of artefacts but no known direct provenance to Clan Fraser.
