Condition Report
Condition is fair. Both handles are present, though the left is misshapen. Other brass fittings are present, though subject to wear including a loose nail on the front right corner, dents and dings. The lock and clasp align, Though no key for lock. Other tears to canvas include one along the back, also to the top, and around the bottom edges. There are also some tears to the leather including along the top right edge. Wax residue to top.  No immediate evidence of worm, though with other minor damages to wood.
Generally speaking, this trunk has really seen wear and tear commensurate with voyages and travel for over one hundred years, and then some. The interior is still in relatively good condition, though mild staining is present.

I have now added several additional images to illustrate areas of concern.
