Condition Report
- Basket in fair condition overall. Scratches and some small marks present throughout. One side of handle detaches easily from basket. Circular section towards bottom of basket is misshapen.
- Inscription reads "presented to David Mitchell ESQR, superintendent, Dudhope children's service, along with a watch pendant, by former and present monitors, as a token of esteem on his retiral after 37 years work in the service. 19th October 1910"
