Condition Report
Oval Brooch:
Very scratched.
Dirty to both sides.
Two of the small spherical terminals have become porous.
The diamond is noticeably grey in colour.
Inclusions are only visible under magnification.
Appears to be one cleavage inclusion.
Bashed and dented to the edges.

Bar brooch:
In worn condition.
All pearls intact.
Metal scratched.
Pin slightly bent.

 
LATE VICTORIAN FIFTEEN CARAT GOLD BROOCH of oval form, with a central star set diamond, with overlaid detail and applied spheres to the outer edge, 38mm wide, 8.5g; along with an Edwardian pearl set bar brooch, with crescent and star motifs, set with split pearls, 47mm long, marked 15, 3.3g (2)
