NEAR PAIR OF SILVER CANDLESTICKS,
one sconce with rubbed maker's mark, no visible town or date marks, with gadrooned detail, the columns tapered and knopped, the square section bases with engraved armorial devices, 26.3cm high

Condition Report

The detail is extremely similar, minor differences of width in gadroons and length of sconce interiors, it is probable that these are matched; both sconces have been knocked, one with a very small split at rim; one with rim pronounced nick, both with knocks and slightly misshapen; both with scratches, nicks and pitting, one stands at a slight angle; one of the bases with a visible surface dent; the bases are weighted; additional images available, one of the sconces has a partially rubbed maker's mark, image provided, additional images available
