Peter Davis is a prize-winning professional fine artist whose portraits and urban landscapes capture contemporary life. He draws inspiration from the people he meets and the places he visits, and his work reflects today’s societal narratives, including technology addiction, mental health, race and gender. He has exhibited widely including the John Moores Painting Prize 2020, Britain's foremost contemporary painting competition; the international Aesthetica Art Prize and the Herbert Smith Freehills Portrait Prize 2024 at the National Portrait Gallery, one of the most prestigious portrait painting competitions in the world. His work is held in both public and private collections.
