maker's mark P.G. and further rubbed mark (possibly the thistle mark used by this maker), the handles with embossed thistle motifs, the body and foot with further bands of thistles, inscribed with motto Sorte Aequus Utrique above bright cut motif, retaining gilt washed interior

Condition good to fair. Bowl would benefit from light clean. Some minor nicks to rim. Laying it upside down, doesn't lay flat, therefore possible minor ware to bowl. Similar with foot, and more prominent nick to foot underside. Additional images now available.
