Gert Van den Dries was born in 1974 in Antwerp Belgium and grew up with two artist parents. He grew up in a house full of art with other artists visiting all the time. His parents took him to many museums as well as visiting other artists studios. As a child he always wanted to be a Mohawk but there was no school for that in Belgium so tech school it was. From around 7 he was creating different kind of things in the basement but always technical in a kind of way. As well as his art he restores old child bikes from after the war until the ‘70.
