Condition report
The frieze below the pediment is slightly bowed. Fretwork to front is almost complete, one small exception. Several small splits present to wood doors. Some areas of fretwork missing to the back. The side panels seem completely intact. Splits to back of cabinet inside doors.

 

CHINESE STAGE CABINET,
richly carved and pierced allover with flowerhead and fretwork panels to the back, the open shelves galleried with trailing branches and flowerheads, beneath an arched pediment decorated with figures amongst bamboo, fitted with a drawer above two cupboard doors, on ball and claw feet, 112cm wide, 201cm high, 40cm deep
