A LATE 19TH CENTURY CHINESE ROSEWOOD TABLE CLOCK

LATE 19TH CENTURY CHINESE ROSEWOOD TABLE CLOCK,
the white enamel circular dial with Roman numerals in black, within a gilt surround engraved with a rectangular panel of Chinese characters flanked by flags and amongst scrolling foliate designs, with twin chain driven fuseé movement and striking bell, the black plate engraved with Chinese characters, within a carved rosewood case with pierced base section, 46cm high, 30cm wide, 24cm deep

Condition Report

Excellent condition. No losses or damage to the case, with the exception of very light wear in keeping with age. The clock movement is ticking, pendulum swinging and operative.
