INTERESTING LOT OF 19TH CENTURY AND EARLY 20TH CENTURY EPHEMERA including eight hand-painted silhouettes, one heightened with gold; also two watercolour finished sketches, one depicting a late 19th century woman tending to sunflowers, and a good quantity of early postal history letter fronts (the letters have been cut down and the content often scored through), addressed to Aberdeen, Banchory, Dunkeld, Edinburgh, etc, with postmarks from 1835, 1837, 1838, etc, over fifty examples Note: A number of the letters are from Scottish artistocracy such as the Duchess of Atholl, who was lady in waiting to Queen Victoria. Viewing recommended.
