LATE 16TH CENTURY STUDENTS BOOK DATED 1581 the title translated rough from latin as 'A students guide to the mannerisms and dialogue of the Peasantry for young men of the highest reputation', author Joannes Ravisius Textor c. 1480-1524 & Faber, Ludovicus, published in London in 1581, throughout the book there are samples of anotations and marginalia including names and phrases both in English and in Latin, titled in Latin 'Ioan. Ravisii Textoris Nivernen: dialogi aliqvot festiuissimi, studiosae iuuentuti cum primis vtiles: Item eivsdem epigrammata non pavca, vt doctissima, ita & lepidissima. Omniarecens diligenter recognita & emendata', leather bindings in poor condition but also notes on both the front and back covers, 11.5cm long
