WWI CAMPAIGN MEDAL DUO to include the British War Medal and the Victory Medal, named Pte A.E. Sansom, 9th S.A.H., each with ribbons and mounted on a bar; together with a collection of silver piping medals awarded to Desmond James Sansom, to include The Federation of Caledonian Society of South Africa (3), the Royal Scottish Catherinc Fed. Caledonian Soc. of S.A. (2), and silver medals, two intialled (4), engraved to the verso '1st Novices Straths Reel JHC 1944', '1st Novices March Jhb, 1944', '2nd B.C.P.B Jhb 1944', 'Piping Marches 17 years & under 21 2nd 1945', 'Piping Strathspeys & Reels 17 years and under 3rd 1945', etc, each with ribbons and pinned to fabric, marks to include Birmingham and Chester Note: This lot is associated with lot 32, a set of bagpipes by J.
