maker Andrew Wilkie, Edinburgh 1836, the hinged cover with greyhound finial, the scalloped baluster body chased and embossed with scrolling, foliate and floral motifs, above a scalloped stem and spreading circular foot, 33.5cm high, 1010g

The piece shows wear commensurate with use and age, including tarnish throughout, one or two light dings. The cover does not sit flush. Areas of wear to handle.
