Chris’s journey into the auction world began in 2009, when he stumbled upon a passion for jewellery, antiques, and all things unusual, proving that, sometimes, hobbies can turn into careers (luckily for Chris, it wasn’t golf, or he’d be broke by now).
As part of the McTear’s team, Chris handles everything from booking in consignments and photographing lots to setting up sales and assisting clients, all while trying to keep the saleroom running smoother than his golf swing.
When he’s not busy at the auction house, Chris enjoys playing golf, gaming, and exploring Scotland.
