Tell us about this sale

The strength of the December Watches auction lies in its diversity and high lot total. From Rolex and IWC to TAG Heuer and Raymond Weil the sale is full of pieces to satisfy the collector, wearer and gift-giver. There are some stand out lots by revered makers that come complete with boxes and papers including several Rolex watches that will make excellent Christmas gifts.

Lot 856 the gentleman's Rolex eighteen carat gold wrist watch (£5000-8000) would be a very generous gift for my fiancé but if I was to treat myself it would definitely be lot 938 the lady's Cartier Americaine estimated at £3500-4000!
