McTear's are delighted to see the legendary Black Bowmore 1964 2nd Edition consigned to July's Rare & Collectable Whisky Auction, taking place in Glasgow on Wednesday 6th July at 10:30am.
This very special bottling from Islay's oldest distillery has performed very well in recent appearances at McTear's, selling for £4200 and £4400 on the last two occasions.
Appearing as Lot 500 and with an estimate of £3000-4000, Black Bowmore is sure to be the subject of some ferocious bidding, with collectors and investors desperate to get their hands on such an iconic bottling. Having initially had a retail price of £80, this 30 Year Old expression has seen a meteoric rise in value since being bottled in 1994. Will that surge continue in this month's auction?
