Chopper’s still popular
As usual, the last Antiques & Interiors Auction at McTear’s featured very interesting lots that gained worldwide attention.
One of those lots was a black Raleigh Chopper (lot 225), which reached an impressive hammer price of £300, proving the iconic design has stood the test of time. Depending on condition, Raleigh Choppers can do very well at auction. This particular bike had been very well taken care of and caught the eye of several bidders, with the hammer finally falling to an internet bidder in England.
