Clocking Out!

After the buzz of the auction events week last week, a number of terrific timepieces will be clocking out after the latest Clocks, Musical & Scientific Instrument Auction (1/2/19).

The auction included a number of curious timepieces, such as a Georgian Carriage Clock (lot 1438) which sold for an impressive £4,000! As well as a number of familiar faces, including two Jaeger Le Coultre ‘Atmos’ Clocks (lot 1413 and 1450) which sold for £1,100 and £850 respectively.

But it wasn’t simply clocks that stole the show, with four sets of bagpipes (lots 1429, 1432, 1445 and 1446) selling for £240, £950, £480 and £320 respectively.
