Jewellery Hammer Highlights

With many people wanting to treat themselves after an unnerving few months, jewellery proved to be the perfect thing to put a smile back on people’s faces.

With a busy turnout during viewing, the people of Glasgow were delighted to return to McTears and see the impressive diamonds on display.

The star lot of the auction was lot 382, an old cut diamond solitaire ring of approximately 4.26 carats. Gaining a large amount of attention during viewing, this attracted strong bids before selling to a buyer in the room £11,592 including buyers premium.

French brand Chopard held up its strong auction reputation with three lots from their happy Diamonds collection performing well. Lots 396, a pendant, lot 397, a pair of earrings and lot 444, a cuff bangle, achieved £2833, £1095 and £2189 including buyer’s premium respectively.
