Joseph ‘Joe’ Kearney – a painter, printmaker, poet & sculptor
A collection of paintings by the late Joseph Kearney will be offered for sale this Friday 15 June at the Antiques & Interiors auction. Joe passed away in June last year and his family have instructed their sale. The artist, born in 1939 in Glasgow, was a past Glasgow Art Club Vice President. He exhibited at The Royal Society of Portrait Painters, The Royal Scottish Academy, The Royal Glasgow Institute, The Annan Gallery, Ewan Mundy and Glasgow Art Club. His works are held in several notable collections including The Scottish Ballet and Glasgow Art Gallery & Museums.
Many paintings are being offered as single works, with some being offered in group ‘lots’. All lots are available to bid without reserve price.
