Those are the words spoken by Italian designer Aldo Cipullo, the man behind the iconic Cartier Love bangle which is considered one of the most romantic pieces of jewellery one can own. Modelled on the medieval chastity belt, the Love bangle was created for couples as a symbol of their everlasting love. The iconic screw design is based on the screws found on the bezel of the Cartier Santos watch and they symbolise that the wearer is ‘locked into love.’ Over time, Cartier have expanded the Love collection which now includes necklaces and rings which have become a phenomenon amongst the young and trendy elite.
