The Jewellery Auction featured modern, period and antique jewellery for all tastes.
With many different styles of jewellery, there were many options to explore to find the perfect piece. Items such as a contemporary diamond ring with a multitude of bezel set diamonds, dainty daisy cluster earrings and diamond pendants were all featured in this summer auction.
A beautiful and unusual morganite and diamond pendant was included. The pastel pinky peach stone complimented by the bright diamonds surrounding it, which could also be said for a pair of bright peridot and diamond stud earrings.

The jewellery auction featured a stunning selection of items going under the hammer with diamonds, gold and unusual pieces being snapped up by keen bidders.
A gorgeous diamond two stone ring was snapped up by a local buyer for an impressive £3,600. Gold gem set and dress rings saw fierce competition in the saleroom, while a beautiful ruby and diamond panther pendant achieved £650, alongside a much sought after Georgian diamond ring, which fetched £850. Signet rings proved very popular with bidders at home and abroad, while a fashionable tricolour gold necklet and bracelet set brought bidding over £2000.

The auction featured an array of beautiful lots including rings set with diamonds and precious gems and a variety of antique jewellery, which attracted fierce bidding on the day.
The highlight of the auction was an impressive Victorian serpent necklet. Its undulating body set with turquoise was highlighted by its fierce face, with bared teeth and ruby and diamond eyes. This was much admired on view and on the day, attracted competition on the phone and internet. The hammer eventually fell at a staggering £10,500 and sold to a local Glaswegian.

An impressive pair of diamond stud earrings exceeded their estimate to achieve a hammer price of £7,200. Also enjoying success were an Italian eighteen carat gold necklace by Carli of Lucca, the oldest jewellers in the world, and an impressive gold locket containing not only a photograph but also a posy of dried flowers.
