This specialist auction brings 250 lots of drinkable, collectable and investable whisky, with a whole host of native Scotch Whiskies, as well as some rarities from the USA.
The headline bottle from this collection which has made its way across the Atlantic is the Old Rip Van Winkle aged 23 years. One of only 1,200 bottles, it is expected to achieve £7,000-£9,000. Hailing from the same collection are some other big names in American whisky, including Eagle Rare, Old Weller, William Laure Weller, Henry McKenna amongst others.
Scotch whisky is not to be outdone, with the Glenlivet 1943 Gordon & MacPhail sure to cause a stir at £30,000-£40,000, and the Black Bowmore 1964 First Release at £12,000-£15,000.
