Our October 2022 'Relics of Service: Militaria, Maps & Ethnographica' auction is certainly one not to miss. With over 140 lots on offer, there will surely be something for all the militaria collectors and enthusiasts out there. One such lot is 15, a French 1874 -Pattern Gras Bayonet. This bladed example comes with a stamp to the Ricasso, all important makers marks and dates form the 19th century, c.1879, which is applied to the blade edge. The bayonet is also stamped and numbered Crossguard, has a two-piece wood grip to the brass pommel and steel scabbard with leather frog.

Surely one of the top lots in the auction will be lot 86, this pair of 19th Century Continental Box-lock Pistols, with turn-off cylindrical barrel, stamped proof mark, scroll engraved lock plates, carved ebony handle, mounted butt, 16.5cm long, in fitted case with shot, turnscrew, powder flask and tinned caps

Weaponry is offered alongside an excellent selection of a pepperbox revolver, sights and scopes, maps and, of course, military medals.
